1. The climax of the story was when the monster killed Frankenstein's wife. The monster murdered Frankenstein's wife because Dr. Frankenstein wouldnt create a companion for the monster. Dr. Frankenstein knew that if his companion was not created, then his family would be endangered especially on his wedding night.
3. What I thought about this book was that it was okay. My likes about this book was when Dr. Frankenstein tried to get revenge for his family after his wife, daddy, and his best friend was killed by the monster. After the monster killed Frankenstein's wife, he started to run and hide from Frankenstein and Dr. Frankenstein had to chase after him for months. At the end, Frankenstein eventaully dies and that was really sad. He never got his revenge like he said he would, but instead the monster itself became depressed after Dr. Frankenstein died. I guess in the end, nobody got what they wanted and it was just a sad ending. I think this book could have had a happy ending if Dr.Frankenstein did what he was told and so that his family would have still been alive.

Yeah, the ending is kind of depressing, but that's often how authors drive their point home.
Victor messed up: He went against nature and created an abomination, and therefore (according to Shelly) deserves to suffer. All of the innocent people have to die to make Victor realize the depth his ‘sin’, and the monster has to die because it IS the abomination.
p.s. Any chance you could get David and Albert to do a little blogging? They're missing out on some much-needed interaction (not to mention POINTS!) They're also dragging down your points.
Erick,

P.S. i agree with you on everything that you said

Author interview
Me: I'm here with Mary Shelley, one of the greatest authors of all time. Mary Shelley, you're looking lovely with that Louis Vultton dress.
Shelley: Thank you very much.
Me: Being bornaugust 30,1797. How was it like to have been brought up by parents who helped form part of the romantic era?
Shelley: It was really good for me because they treated me as an unique individual. They had really high expectations.
From an early age, my parents surrounded me with famous philosophers, wtiers, and poets. I'll never forget the time when Samuel Taylor Coleridge visited me. When i was two, Samuel the english poet, critic, and philosopher who founded the the romantic movement in England and of the lake poets.
Me: Wow... Samuel Taylor Coleridge! That is amazing!
Shelley: Yes it was!
Me: So where did you learn to read and write?
Shelley: Well... I would take a walk with my father to the St.Pancras Churchyard where my mother was buried. My father taught me how to spell and read my name by having me trace her mother's inscription on the stone.
Me: Oh, I'm terribly sorry for asking.
Shelley: It's okay.
Me: One final question, if you don't mind. Have you experienced love?
Shelley: Yes i have! A man named Percy Shelley. He was so handsome and we were both were so deeply in love in that we ran at the age of sixteen to get married.
Me: Well that's all the time we have, thank you everybody. This is Albert Chan good day.

Frankenstein
New technology, better weapons, smarter people, and war. What else was I supposed to do besides write a book? but what was I going to do to write about? technology was getting more advanced(Industrial Revolution) and war broke out between Britain and America.(American Revolution)
Well, Iguess you can say I was somewhat concered about the war, but moreabout the advance in technology. I mean there's nothing wrong with inventing things that will make life more simple, but there will always be those individuals that will try to take it a step further. So I decided to write a book on that, preventing distruction that can result from a man's selfish desires.
I decided to write a horror book, which became quite famous. I wrote about a scientist who is very interested in the mysteries of life. He spends countless years trying to discover how to create life, and he goes through schooling of chemistry and philosophy to succeeding in creating it. The creature is so terrifying, it causes the scientist to scream, which scares away the creature. The scientist is soon confronted by the creature, the creature explains that he tried to live with humansbut was rejected, abused, and disrespected. The creature declares vengeance on his creator unless he is rewarded with a mate. The scientist agrees to do so but isn't going to follow through. The monster kills his wife shortly after the wedding. When the Scientists finds her, he wants to get revenge on the monster. The scientist follow through the creature into the frozen wasts and dies of exhaustion. The creature discovers the dead body and says he's going to destroy himself. The monster then flees and disappears into the surrounding snow.
